Fayetteville Lighted Parade This Saturday

The Annual Fayetteville Lighted Parade, starts at the Square at 6 p.m. this Saturday, Dec. 11, as part of Country Christmas. Parade participants can start lining up between 5 and 5:30 p.m. on Washington Street between Orsak’s and the Grand Fayette Hotel. The parade will follow Santa and the Firetruck. The parade route is a loop that will pass around the Square twice. There is no entry fee, and any lighted vehicle is welcomed, from large floats to bicycle riders, ATVs to the trailered boat. Clovis Heimsath Retrospective at the Red & White Opening December 10

The Red & White Gallery in Fayetteville is exhibiting a retrospective on the work of Clovis Heimsath (1930-2021) to open this Friday, Dec. 10, from 4-7 p.m. Clovis is known throughout the state as a leader in architecture and historic preservation, but locally is more recognized as a civic leader and as a painter. It is his long career as a painter that the town will be celebrating with the exhibit “Clovis Heimsath: A Retrospective” that will be open thru Jan. 15, 2022.

Winchester VFD Community Christmas Party Slated Dec. 14

The Winchester Area Volunteer Fire Department cordially invites the community to their annual Christmas party and chili supper on Tuesday, Dec. 14, at Zilss Hall. This is their way of saying thank you to the community for their support. Social begins at 6 p.m. with an awards presentation to follow. The chili supper will be served beginning at 6:30 p.m. If you would like to bring a dessert, it would be greatly appreciated. Nonperishable food items will be collected for the AMEN Food Pantry.

Celebrate Christmas in Muldoon Saturday

This weekend, Saturday, Dec. 11 from 4-6 p.m. the annual Christmas in Muldoon will be going on. Slow down and come to our tiny community and find some old fashion Christmas spirit. Come check out the Muldoon Museum. They will have some baked goods for sale to help get you in the mood for the season. Check out all the neat old stuff they have on display and visit with those who work so hard to keep Muldoon history alive.

Carmine Lions Collecting Toys for Deputy Santa

The Carmine Lions Club will meet Dec. 14 for their meeting and Christmas Party at the Carmine Volunteer Fire Department Annex at 6:30 p.m. The chicken spaghetti meal will be catered by Sandtown Catering.
