Flatonia Graduates May 26

Flatonia’s graduation is Thursday, May 26 at 7 p.m. in the Flatonia ISD Gymnasium. They do not name the valedictorian and salutatorian until that night. Honor grads from Flatonia include: Trista Alvarado, Katherine Bruns, Ellie Fike, Laura James, Ali Janecka, AnaLyn Kozelsky, Justin Marler, Jennifer Mendiola, Karli Siptak, Melody Smith and Rene Torres.

Flatonia senior Ali Janecka is a state champion. Janecka hurled a discus farther than she ever had before Friday at the state track meet to win the girls 2A discus competition.

Sanchez Earns Bachelors From Concordia University

Cristina Sanchez of La Grange, earned a B.A. from Concordia University, Nebraska. On May 7, Concordia University, Nebraska awarded undergraduate and graduate degrees to more than 400 graduates. The Class of 2022 was honored during undergraduate and graduate commencement ceremonies.

Burleson County Tribune Judy Richardson a longtime Caldwell resident and business owner, was seriously injured on April 8, in a two-vehicle collision on FM 975 at the County Road 118 intersection. The accident occured at about 5 p.m.
