The Fayette County Record The Fayette County Commissioners Court expects to finalize next year’s proposedbudget this month.One major expense for the County every year goes toward financial support for the 10 volunteer fire departments. In 2017, the County dedicated two cents of its property tax rate toward the 10 departments.
LG Man Collapses, Dies at Work
A cook at La Grange’s Hank’s Express died suddenly on the job after collapsing Tuesday morning just before 8 a.m. Authorities arrived quickly and members of the La Grange fire department and EMS attempted CPR on Christian Gonsoulin, 28, of La Grange, who was then transported to St. Mark’s Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
