Deputies Make Drug Arrest In Ellinger

Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that on Saturday, Oct. 8, in the early morning hours, Deputy Jared Michalec and Sgt. Ryan Meagher responded to a suspicious vehicle call in Ellinger. Reported was a suspicious vehicle sitting in the driveway of a residence off of Tobias Street.

Deputies made contact with the driver and drug paraphernalia was located in plain view. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted and a substance believed to be cocaine was located. Arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance was 19-year-old Ricardo Garcia of Ellinger.
