Menefee Appointed Interim City Manager; Bell Says Goodbye

At Monday’s La Grange City Council meeting, Council appointed Menefee as the interim city manager. Former City Manager Fred Bell resigned last week. Mayor Jan Dockery said Council will begin the search for a new city manager at their next meeting. Former La Grange City Manager Fred Bell provided a statement to the Record regarding his departure.

Registration for tumbling and gymnastics will be held Wednesday, Aug. 30 from 4:30-6 p.m. at the Randolph Recreation Center located at 653 E. Pearl in La Grange. Fees are $75 a month participant for one time per week per child; $100 a month participant 2 times per week (2 siblings $90 each per month, 3 siblings $80 each per month). St. Mark’s Medical Center (St. Mark’s) is pleased to announce that their Advanced Outpatient Wound Center is a recipient of RestorixHealth’s highest achievement, the Wound Center of Excellence Award. Recipients of this prestigious award meet or exceed national wound care quality benchmarks over a set period of time.
