The “A Matter of Balance” (AMoB) series; which is being copartnered by the Schulenburg Public Library, Fayette County Committee on Aging, and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of Fayette County, will be conducted starting Tuesday, Feb. 6.
The AMoB is a series of 8 twohour sessions which will be conducted each Tuesday and Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. through Feb. 29 in the Schulenburg Public Library meeting room, 310 Simpson Street.
As of Dec. 15, total intake for the Gardenia E. JanssenAnimal Shelter is 1559: 730 dogs and 829 cats in need.As of Dec. 15, the shelter has 88 animals in care: 33 dogs/55 cats. This number includes animals in the facility, in foster care for medical, waiting on available space, or awaiting transport to rescue partner.
