LG Citizens On Patrol
The La Grange Citizens on Patrol reports the following activities for the month of July: Patrols - 3 Patrol Hours - 9.5 Miles Logged - 89.7 Tickets - 0 Warnings - 1 The La Grange Citizens on Patrol assists the Police Department by conducting patrols and providing a presence at community events. They are also authorized to write handicap parking violation tickets and warnings within the city limits.
Locals Featured in Ad Campaign Filmed Here
A new advertising campaign for the Boot Barn company was recently filmed in La Grange, and in addition to including several area locations, it also featured a bunch of local talent. The campaign features a one minute commercial that will run through various social media platforms as well as billboards, magazines and other advertising outlets.

St. Mary Catholic Church in Ellinger will host their 74th Annual Bazaar on Sunday Aug. 25 starting at 10:30 a.m. There will be a drive-thru and dine-in meal at the Ellinger Chamber of Commerce Hall consisting of fried chicken, sausage and trimmings for $15 per plate. There will also be a silent auction and a live auction. There will be a Variety Booth and other fun game activities. Live music will be provided by The Bandits. There will be a prize drawing for a $5,000 gift card first prize, and 43 additional prizes. Tickets for the drawing are available from the St. John’s/ St. Mary’s Parish Office, St. Mary parishioners, Fayetteville Bank or Round Top State Bank.
