On Monday evening around 6:20 p.m. the Fayette County Sheriff’s office received a 911 call reporting a structure fire on FM 389 near Goebel Rd. The Round Top– Warrenton Fire Department was notified and responded to the scene. Deputies Mark Pritchard, James Ulbig, and Fayette County EMS Medic 2, Squad 6, and EMS 3 also responded. Upon arrival it was reported the house was fully engulfed and assistance was requested from the Shelby Fire Department, Fayetteville Fire Department, and Industry Fire Department who all responded to the scene.
Faith Lutheran High Octoberfest Set Oct. 25
Tickets are now available for the Faith Lutheran High School Octoberfest on Saturday, Oct. 25. Meal tickets are $15 each and include schnitzel, noodles, green beans, potato salad, kraut, bread, and coffee cake. Serving will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Holy Cross Picnic Grounds, dine in or carry out is available. Tickets are pre-sale only. Contact a student, staff member, or church office for tickets.

The Round Top Rifle Association 13th Annual Okto-BierFest is coming up Saturday, Oct. 25. Gates open at 11 a.m., and the official keg tapping is at 12 p.m. Enjoy an afternoon filled with quality German biers, delicious kassler, schweineschnitzel, wurst, and kraut. A free concert will be held under the pavilion with music by The Round Top Brass Band, anduf Geht’s and Enzian Baum. Entry is free.
