Round Top Home Burns

On Monday evening around 6:20 p.m. the Fayette County Sheriff’s office received a 911 call reporting a structure fire on FM 389 near Goebel Rd. The Round Top– Warrenton Fire Department was notified and responded to the scene. Deputies Mark Pritchard, James Ulbig, and Fayette County EMS Medic 2, Squad 6, and EMS 3 also responded. Upon arrival it was reported the house was fully engulfed and assistance was requested from the Shelby Fire Department, Fayetteville Fire Department, and Industry Fire Department who all responded to the scene. The fire was extinguished and it was reported no one was at the residence. The cause of the fire has not been determined and remains under investigation. There were no reported injuries.
