Fake $100 Bills Being Seen Locally

The La Grange Police Department reminds business owners and patrons to pay attention to possible counterfeit $100 bills floating around the area. The police department reported that one individual brought them a $100 bill that turned out to be counterfeit currency.

Ellinger Chamber to Meet Nov. 11

The Ellinger Chamber of Commerce will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. in the dining room on the chamber grounds. All chamber and community member are welcome.

Shared Lutheran Ministry Confirmation will meet on Sunday, Nov. 9 at 11:15 a.m. at. St. John in Rutersville.

Pastor Jen will lead service in Ellinger at St. John on Sunday, Nov. 9.

Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

Mac’s Daqs Bar Closing in Downtown La Grange

Mac’s Daqs Bar & Lounge has become an iconic spot in downtown La Grange, but the party is ending. According to a post on social media the owners said: “After three incredible years of memories, music, laughter, and late nights, we’ll be celebrating our final party on November 15 before officially closing Mac’s Daqs Bar & Lounge.
Mac’s Daq’s is located in the old Oviedo auto dealership in downtown La Grange.
