Stone Cellar Donates to Backyard Bull Bash

The Stone Cellar in Round Top hosted a great night of music and dancing on May 22, donating 10% of all sales to the Backyard Bull Bash for the Ronald McDonald House. In addition, a small live auction was held. The total raised was $1,190. Fayetteville Bank Gives Back

Fayetteville Bank who has been a long time supporter of the Knights of Columbus No. 2902 donated their $3,500 winning prize in the scholarship fundraiser back into the KC’s scholarship account. The KC’s are forever grateful to the bank and all the sponsors in the local area that support their many activities in the community. Winkler Graduates from UT

Abby Winkler graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin on Friday, May 21 with a bachelor of business administration degree in finance from the McCombs School of Business. Abby is the daughter of former La Grange High School graduates Brent and Lorie Schilling Winkler of Bulverde. Abby is the granddaughter of Melvin and Dorothy Schilling, Faye Winkler, and the late Eugene Winkler, all of La Grange.

Fayette County Texas Exes awarded a scholarship to Dillen Rohan. Dillen was the 2021 La Grange ISD High School valedictorian. Baylor Announces Local Graduates

Baylor University celebrated more than 7,500 graduates of the classes of 2020 and 2021 during six in-person commencement ceremonies on May 6-8 at McLane Stadium on the banks of the Brazos River. Local graduates include: Tara Michelle Beseda of La Grange, bachelor of arts, communication, College of Arts & Sciences, May 2021.
