No ‘Back to Normal’

To the Editor: How many times does anybody have to tell us about if we all get the shot we can get back to normal? I don’t care if you are a Democrat, Republican or Libertarian we will have to live in a new post-COVID world. The year 2019 will never come back and we will not magically forget the past two years.

The COVID Vaccine, My Side Effects

I caught COVID last November, had a few tough days, but came out of it just fine (except when you see a typo in the newspaper, then feel free to blame it on some lingering side effect of COVID; my brain must still be suffering from rather than the more plausible reason of my general incompetence that predated COVID).

Local GOP Leader Failing

To the Editor: For the past two weeks, I’ve seen the FC Republican county chair submitting letters to the FCR complaining about the size of a letter submitted by a resident of Fayette County while politicizing the vaccine and peddling long debunked falsehoods in regard to the vaccine. You would think that as the Delta variant continues to ravage Texans, filling our hospitals, and killing our residents that she would have something more enlightening to discuss in her submissions.
