No ‘Back to Normal’

To the Editor:

How many times does anybody have to tell us about if we all get the shot we can get back to normal? I don’t care if you are a Democrat, Republican or Libertarian we will have to live in a new post-COVID world. The year 2019 will never come back and we will not magically forget the past two years. I doubt if anyone can let the world know what it will actually be like except that the long nightmare will be over.

Some will forever wear masks, others will throw them off forever. Elections will go forward and there will be continued bickering amongst everyone about everything. After every major event in the world a new normal morphs from the old.

So the next time someone tells you that we can get back to normal just chuckle under your breath.
