The La Grange girls basketball team went 3-2 at the Schmeckenfest Shootout Tourney here last week. The Lady Leps beat Hallettsville, an Australian traveling team andAnderson-Shiro.

Columbus knocked off Franklin 62-42 in the state quarterfinals last week and the Cardinals now advance to face undefeated Edna in the state semis. Meanwhile Shiner and Ganado are marching into the state semis, but Lexington saw its playoff run end in a 3125 loss to Tidehaven.
