Fayetteville Sweeps Four Games to Win Home Tourney Title

The Fayetteville boys basketball team continues to show they are worthy of their No. 9 state rankings. The Lions swept all four games at their home tournament last week to claim the tourney title. The team is shown above with their championship trophy. The Lions beat Thorndale 40-39, beat Brazos Christian 71-49, beat Somerville 71-49 and finally knocked off Flatonia 66-45.
