The La Grange boys basketball team went 4-1 at their home tournament last week, The Schmeckenfest Shootout. The Leps placed third out of the eight teams after beating Yoakum 49-46 in the third place game Saturday.
La Grange started the tourney with three consecutive wins (over Yoakum, Navarro and Brazos) before falling to Bastrop in the tourney semifinals Friday night.
Undefeated Lockhart (110) ended up winning the tourney by beating Bastrop in the title game.
Overall the Leps are 7-2 and they return to action at the Brazos Tournament this weekend.
