Uzzell Sisters Help Flatonia to 9-1 Start

Sisters Abbie and Allie Uzzell are new to Flatonia High School this year (they are daughters of new FISD teachers) but they are already doing big things on the basketball court. Both are key contributors to the Lady Bulldogs stellar 9-1 start to the season.

Lady Leps Fall at Home

Despite a 19-point night from Kylie Trlicek and 14 from Campbell Cooper, the La Grange girls basketball team lost at home Tuesday to Cornerstone Christian 76-51. The loss drops the Lady Leps’ overall record to 8-7 as they prepare to play at the Brazos Tournament this weekend.

State Semifinalist Ceremony for the Cubettes Friday

Round Top-Carmine High School will be having a ceremony to present the varsity volleyball team their state semifinalist trophy and medals on Friday, Dec. 13 starting at 7 p.m. at the Round Top-Carmine High School Gym. This event is open to the public.

RTC Defeats Fayetteville in District Girls Hoops

The Round Top-Carmine girls basketball team beat Fayetteville Tuesday 54-39 led by a 23-point night from Tess Eilers. Jill Eilers added 15 points for the Cubettes, who improved to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in district with the victory.

Cooper is Offensive MVP As Lots of Leps Honored On 11-4A Football Team

Several La Grange football players earned all-district accolades on the 11-4A alldistrict team which was released this week. Leps senior quarterback Clayton Cooper was named the Offensive MVP of 11-4A after passing for 1,919 yards and 14 touchdowns and rushing for 1,102 yards and 22 touchdowns, all team highs.
