Faith Lutheran High School hosted the 5th Annual Private Schools of Central Texas Cross Country Meet on Friday Nov. 3 for students in K-8 grade.

The LHS Swim Team competed in their second meet of the season. On November 1, 2023 in El Campo the LHS swimmers competed against El Campo and Van Vleck. The combined team scores had the La Grange High School Swimmers coming out on top. Combined Varsity Scores for all 24 events are as follows: La Grange High School-665, El Campo-622, Van Vleck-267.

Benjamin Swisher broke his own school record in the 50 Free swimming a 23.23 improving his time by .83 seconds.

La Grange Special Athletes competed in their first ever Special Olympics TX Bowling Competition on Wednesday, Nov. 1, to Friday, Nov.

With only three varsity returnees from last year, there were lots of question marks for the La Grange girls basketball season heading into this season. The Lady Leps answered a lot of those questions in a dominating 68-15 victory over Schulenburg Monday in the season opener for both teams.

The Schulenburg and Round Top-Carmine volleyball teams continued their march towards a state title with victories in the regional quarterfinals Tuesday. Sweep Skidmore In Seguin, the Lady Horns beat Skidmore-Tynan 25-17, 25-22, 25-15.

Schulenburg football player Adam Thompson has contributed in many ways for a Shorthorns team that just picked up their fifth win of the season against Thrall last Friday. Thompson doesn’t only snap the ball to the quarterback as the team’s center and make blocks, he also makes tackles on the other side of the ball as a linebacker.
