La Grange Students Compete at Special Olympics Bowling Competition

La Grange Special Athletes competed in their first ever Special Olympics TX Bowling Competition on Wednesday, Nov. 1, to Friday, Nov. 3. It was held at Spare Time Bowling Lanes in Pflugerville.

Athletes that participated were: La Grange Elementary School- 8-11 yr. Division: Makayla G. 5th grade-2nd place girls singles Silver medal Dylon W. 5th grade- 2nd place boys singles Silver medal

La Grange High School- 12-15 yr. Division: Dylan H. 9th grade- 1st place boys singles Gold medal 16-21 yr Division: Vanice M. 12th grade- 3rd place girls singles Bronze medal Ava M. 12th grade- 3rd place girls singles Bronze medal Jarrett O. 12th grade- 3rd place boys singles Bronze medal Braylon J. 12th grade- 4th place boys singles Special Thanks to: Lizette Morin, Head of Delegation (HOD), and Jeannette Sullivan, Head Coach; LGHS Functional Academics team, LGHS Admin and Transportation, and LG Special Education Dept.; Turtle Wing- donated bowling sets for school practice and competition shirts; Schulmann Film Alley Bastrop for hosting practices; LG Print Co. for making our shirts and SOTX Banner and supportive family & friends
