Sacred Heart Altar Society Met May 6

The Sacred Heart Altar Society members met on Monday, May 6, in the Msgr. Harry Mazurkiewicz Parish Center. The meeting was opened with a prayer followed by the standard financial reports. Four thank you cards were read to members in appreciation for remembrances received. Thirteen ladies attended the meeting.

MLLC Vacation Bible School June 9-13

Vacation Bible School will be held at Martin Luther Lutheran Church June 9-13 from 5:30-7:45 p.m. The closing program will be on Sunday, June 16 during the 10 a.m. worship service.

Salad Supper 

The Women of the ELCA are hosting their annual salad supper and program on Wednesday, June 5 beginning at 6:30 p.m. The theme is “Give Me That Old Time Religion.” Everyone is invited to attend.

The way into Flatonia just became much more difficult for those in the Muldoon area for the next six months or so. FM 154, the most direct route into Flatonia from Muldoon, now has a bridge closed just south of Old Smithville Road and north of Parker Road.

«t Church picnic season is upon us in Fayette County. The Queen of the Holy Rosary Parish in Hostyn held their annual Mayfest picnic on Sunday May 5, which included a delicious barbecue pork and sausage meal.
