Carmine Volunteer Fire Department Firemen’s Feast will be held this Sunday, July 21. Fried chicken plates will be served drive-thru only at the Carmine Hall from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. or until sold out. Desserts and sausage links will also be available. A drawing will be held the same day.
Donations will be accepted as payment for the meal.

It’s time again for the City-Wide Garage Sale held by the Greater Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce this Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon. If there are spots left on the square, the cost is only $20. Electricity is free. Sellers must provide the extension cord. Canopies are allowed but stakes in the ground are prohibited. Contact the chamber if you wish to rent a space on the square at (979) 378-2800. Snag a free margarita and get a sneak preview of items for sale by the Fayetteville Lions Club in the old firehouse on the square. Their Early Bird Party runs from 4-6 p.m.
The next Game Day at Holy Cross will be held Thursday, July 18, from noon-2 p.m. A light lunch is served, there is no cost to attend and everyone is welcome. Games of bingo, dominoes and board games are offered. More details coming soon.
The annual Holy Cross Lutheran Church picnic will be held Sunday, Sept. 1 at the picnic grounds. Make plans to attend this fun day.
Services at Holy Cross Lutheran are Sunday at 9 a.m. Bible Class and Sunday school follows the morning service.
The midweek morning Bible Study at Holy Cross in Warda is Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.
