A memorial service for William “Bill” Parks, 69 of Burton, is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Shelby with Rev. John David Nedbalek officiating.

William Asbury Parks was born on Aug. 11, 1953 in Houston. He was the son ofAsbury and Hazel (Parker) Parks.

Bill passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in College Station.

Bill is survived by his wife, Harriet Parks of Burton; his son and daughter-in-law, Tyler and Kelly Parks of Kyle; his two granddaughters, Camilla and Madelyn Parks of Kyle; two biological half-sisters, Charlotte Law and her husband, Randy and Dolly Rush; two biological half-brothers, Dennie Ray Calder and his wife, Renee and Buddy Choate, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings.
