Cherry Cooper Cherry, 63, of Muldoon, passed away on June 26, 2023. He was born on March 20, 1960 to William Wallace Cherry and Peggy Krause Cherry.

Cooper played guitar with The Velvets during the 1980s, worked at IMCO in Schulenburg during the 90s, and finished his career in a part-time role at Prototype in Flatonia.

He is survived by son, Cooper Cherry Jr. of Austin; brothers, Chris Cherry of West Point, and William Wallace Cherry, Jr. of Muldoon; and former wife, LoraLee Farmer of O’Quinn.

Cooper is preceded in death by father, William Wallace Cherry and mother, Peggy Krause Cherry.

The Funeral Service for Cooper was held on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Muldoon Baptist Church in Muldoon and burial followed at Pitman Cemetery.
