Funeral services for Thelma Kieschnik, 95 of Winchester, were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025, at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Winchester with Rev. Nate Hill officiating. Burial followed at the St. Michael’s Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation was held on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings. The family was present for visitation Tuesday evening from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Mary Jane (Huebel) Oltmann was called home to be with the Lord on Dec. 6, 2025, at the age of 84, just five days shy of her 85th birthday. Born on Dec. 11, 1940, in Roznov, to the late Robert Fred Huebel and Mathilda (Foyt) Huebel, Mary Jane’s life was a testament to her unwavering faith and the joy she found in the simple pleasures of life.
