Graveside services for Roy Pharis Jr., 77, of Dime Box, are scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, at Hranice Cemetery in Dime Box, with Tim Pitts officiating.

Edmund Roy Pharis Jr. was born on Feb. 11, 1948, in Baytown, the son of Edmund Roy Pharis Sr. and Wanda Faye (Beaird) Pharis.

Roy passed away on the morning of Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025, in Giddings.

Roy is survived by his wife, Linda Pharis of Dime Box; his sons and daughtersin- law, Kurt and Laura Pharis of La Grange and Cody and Cristyn Pharis of Dime Box; three granddaughters and three great-grandchildren; one brother, two sisters, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Dime Box Volunteer Fire Department or the First Baptist Church in Dime Box.
