Reverend Dr. Jerry Hurst, 76, passed away Saturday, Feb.

Henry Byrl Hearitige, 89, of Port Lavaca, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021.

Funeral services for Daniel Miksch were held Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church in Schulenburg. Visitation was held Saturday, Feb. 20, at the Church at 9:30 a.m., with the Parish and Knights of Columbus Rosary following at 10:30 a.m.

Katherine Merrell Pereiro of Warrenton passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at her home. Katherine was born in Palestine to Leonce and Lillian Smith on April 13, 1930.

Milroy Alvin Weinert, 78, of Round Top, died March 1, 2021 at Care Inn of La Grange. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, March 6, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Raymond Andrew Jozwiak, 73, of Brenham, died on Feb. 28, 2021.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Russell Joseph Janish, 45, of Fayetteville was held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 25, 2021 at St John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fayetteville. A Rosary was recited prior to the service at 9:30 a.m., also at the church. Mr. Janish unexpectedly passed away, Feb. 18, 2021 in Fayetteville.

Marilyn Ann (Frank) Miller, 90, of La Grange passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021.

Betty Lou (Brandt) Harbich went home to be with her mother, dad and sister on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021 at the age of 76 years old. Betty is now resting peacefully after many years of struggling with the cruelty of Parkinson’s disease.

Marie was born Dec. 8, 1939 at St Joseph’s Hospital in Houston to Alvin C. Holderrieth and Dessie B. Holderrieth, deceased. She grew up in the Heights area of Houston and was baptized and confirmed at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She earned her education and graduated from Lutheran High School.
