Donald Lee “Don” Fletcher, 88, of Round Top, passed away on Monday, Nov. 23, 2020.

Don was born in Many, La. on Sept. 18, 1932, the son of George and Amy (Crenshaw) Fletcher.

He honorably served his country in the United States Army.

Don had retired as a Central Office telephone repairman at Colorado Valley Telephone, after working there for over 12 years. He enjoyed watching game shows and, all types of sporting events on TV. Don especially loved to watch LSU football, wrestling and enjoyed playing horseshoes. He loved traveling to the casinos from time to with his family and friends. Don always made it a point to visit the local Dairy Queen daily to socialize with his friends.

Don had a heart of gold. He always had a smile on his face and a funny joke to tell that would brighten someone’s day. Don was well-loved by his family and community.

Don leaves behind numerous family members, extended family members, along with his cherished friends that will miss him dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations in La Grange.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Remnant Church, P.O Box 638, La Grange, TX 78945.
