Sparklight will open fall 2023 applications for the company’s Charitable Giving Fund, which annually awards $250,000 in grants to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, from Oct. 1-31, 2023.

With the opening of deer season right around the corner, Friends of the Weimar Public Library will offer a second Hunter Safety Certification Class for those who were unable to attend the course in July. The course is scheduled this year in two night time sessions. The sessions will be offered on Oct. 16 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Oct. 17 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Weimar Junior High cafeteria. Pizza will be served to students.
