LG Priest Being Moved To Much Larger Church

Fr. Brian Phillips of Sacred Hearth Catholic Church in La Grange will leave at the end of this month to become pastor at St. Margaret Mary Parish in Cedar Park. Phillips has been the pastor at Sacred Heart since September of 2020.

Caughman Wins $1,000 as Whataburger Teacher of the Year

La Grange Middle School math teacher Michelle Caughman won the 2024 “Whataburger Teacher of the Year Award,” and has been awarded Whataburger merchandise along with $1,000. It’s not a surprise she won this year, considering the amount of appreciation her students have for her.

Come for a free movie, hot dogs, popcorn and drinks beginning at 6:30 p.m. for the first Summer Movie Night Friday, June 7 at New Life Methodist Church, 1215 N. Von Minden, La Grange. Other movie nights include: June 21 and July 12 in the Fellowship Hall. Camp Invention Coming to LES

Camp Invention, a nationally recognized, nonprofit summer enrichment camp program, is coming to La Grange Elementary School the week of June 10. A program of the National Inventors Hall of Fame in partnership with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Camp Invention challenges children in grades K-6 to tap into their natural curiosity and use their creativity to solve problems.
Camp Invention is a STEM Summer Camp Program for Grades K-6 that turns curious kids into innovative thinkers.
