St. Barnabas Blessing of the Pets Oct. 5

On Saturday morning, Oct. 5, in conjunction with their monthly prayer booth on the first Saturday of each month at Bishop Pavilion, Chesley Park (Market Days), Father Mike Keppler, Vicar of St. Barnabas’s Anglican Church, will offer a short service of Blessing of the Pets at 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Each animal will be recognized with a “Bless my pet” medallion for its collar and a personalized St. Francis prayer card.

All animals need to be on a leash or in an appropriate portable container. All are welcome. Water and pet treats will be available. Bring your pets to be blessed. Genesis 6:1920 and Romans 8:22 help to remind owners of the responsibility and privilege that God has given them.

St. Barnabas Anglican Church is located at 237 W. Austin St. in Bellville.
