Quilts as Fashion

Colorado Valley Quilt Guild’s guest speaker was Patricia Roebuck with Lola & Viv Designs and is the master of “Re-Imagined Fashion.” Her presentation “The Quilted Jacket: The History Lives On” inspired all to start looking for old quilts. The jackets and bags that she presented brought life back into those old discarded quilts. The Colorado Valley Quilt Guild meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Randolph Recreation Center, 653 East Pearl Street, Room A East, La Grange. Guild meetings begin at 6 p.m. on even months and 10 a.m. on odd months.
