Record Shines in State Press Association Contests

The Fayette County Record was honored with a number of awards at the Texas Press Association’s annual Better Newspaper Contest Saturday in Denton. Competing in the largest circulation category in the state for non-daily newspapers (against papers from Nacogdoches, Lufkin, New Braunfels, San Marcos, and lots more), The Record placed in seven different events.

Hermann Sons Life, Round Top and Shelby Lodges, will meet on Thursday, June 26, at the Round Top American Legion Hall. Social time at 6 p.m. and meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. Meal after the meeting.
