Hermann Sons Rutersville will hold their September meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 3 beginning at 7 p.m. at the lodge hall. The meal will be potluck, bring your favorite dish to share.
Tanecka Reunion
The Tanecka Family Reunion will be held Saturday, Sept. 6 beginning at 11 a.m. at the Fayette County Homemakers Building at the Fayette County Fairgrounds. Each family is asked to bring a meat and a side dish or dessert for a potluck lunch to be served at noon. Paper goods and drinks will be provided. Please also bring an item for the silent auction. Adult Tech Training
Join for Adult Technology Training at the Fayette County Library in La Grange on Saturday, Sept. 6, from 10 a.m. noon. All computer questions are welcome. No one is born knowing this stuff. There’s more The Fayette County Beekeepers Association (FaycoBeeks) will hold its next meeting on Saturday, Sept. 6 at the Fayette County Agriculture Building in La Grange (255 Svoboda Ln). The evening begins with Beekeeping 101 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. a session perfect for beginners or anyone curious about getting started with honey bees.At 5:30 p.m. we’ll enjoy a potluck dinner please bring a favorite entrée, side, or dessert to share. Following dinner, we’ll hold our regular business meeting, then welcome this month’s guest speaker: Lynne Jones, owner of Brazos River Honey in Sealy. Lynne will present on the Texas Honey Labeling Requirements and the recent changes implemented during the legislative session. This presentation will be especially valuable for beekeepers who sell or plan to sell honey, offering clear guidance on staying compliant with the latest rules. Annual club membership is just $25 per individual or family, but guests are always welcome. FaycoBeeks meets on the first Saturday of each month (except in July). The Muldoon Museum will be open to visitors on Saturday, Sept. 6 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Please notify the museum if you have any special items that you would like to donate.
Lions Sealy Dance Club
The Lions Sealy Dance Club is having a dance on Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Sealy American Legion Hall located at 1630 Meyer St. in Sealy. The band, Al Sulak And The Country Sounds, will be providing live music from 7:30-11 p.m. The public is always welcome.

Retired Teachers Association Meeting The Fayette County Retired Teachers Association will meet Monday, Sept. 8 at 1:30 p.m. at the New Life Methodist Church fellowship hall in La Grange. Join for an ice cream social, games and goodies. All retired teachers and school personnel are welcome to attend. Bring a friend who you would like to attend the gathering with and learn what the Texas Retired Teachers Association has to offer.

West Navidad Wildlife Management The Spring West Navidad Wildlife Management meeting is set for Saturday, Sept. 13 at the Rockin “W” Sale Barn on Hwy. 77 North of Schulenburg. Fayetteville Schools Reunion
The annual reunion for graduates of Fayetteville High School and St. John’s School will be held on Saturday, Sept. 20 at Joe’s Place on the Fayetteville Square. It will begin at 4:30 p.m. with a social, meeting and advance ticket meal. The meal cost is $18/ person with payment due by Sept. 10.
