Fayette County Commissioners set a budget of $200,000 to build new restrooms and office space inside Founders Park on the Courthouse Square. The space, situated at 252 W.

The Texan, an up-and-coming chain of destination convenience stores, plans to build a big new store in Schulenburg at the corner of US 77 and Interstate 10.
