World Polio Day Proclaimed

Fayette County Judge Dan Mueller signed a proclamation designating Oct. 24 as World Polio Day in Fayette County. On hand for the signing were representatives of the La Grange Rotary Club. The proclamation stated that polio cases have declined by 99.9 percent worldwide since 1988, thanks in part to the efforts of Rotary International.
