Casino Night Puts Fun, Fundraising Behind Habitat’s Housing Mission

Fayette County Habitat for Humanity is going all in for affordable housing as Casino Night 2026 returns Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Historic Casino Hall in La Grange.

For one night, guests can try their luck at the tables while helping Habitat stack the deck in favor of local families and neighbors in need of safe, decent housing. Proceeds from Casino Night support Fayette County Habitat for Humanity’s work building affordable homes and completing critical home repairs and Aging in Place projects throughout Fayette County.

“Casino Night is about having a great time for a great cause,” said Kenny Couch, Executive Director of Fayette County Habitat for Humanity. “You may be betting chips at the tables, but the real investment is in our neighbors. Every ticket purchased, every sponsorship and every auction bid helps put hammers in volunteers’ hands and keep Habitat working in homes across Fayette County.” Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with gaming from 6 - 9 p.m. Guests can test their luck at craps, roulette, poker, slots, blackjack and Let It Ride, followed by three grand prize drawings at 9:30 p.m. The evening will also feature a silent auction along with treats, eats and plenty of refreshments.

Tickets are available at two levels: High Roller tickets are $100, while Whale tickets are $125 and include double the gaming chips. Tickets are limited.

While Lady Luck may decide what happens at the roulette wheel, Habitat believes the safety of a family’s home shouldn’t be left to chance.

Across Fayette County, Habitat volunteers are repairing leaking roofs, replacing unsafe porches and doors, making homes more accessible for older residents, responding to urgent repair needs and continuing the organization’s traditional work of building affordable homes. Casino Night helps provide the resources necessary to keep that work moving.

“At the end of the night, somebody may walk away with a grand prize, but our whole community wins when a neighbor has a roof that doesn’t leak, a porch they can safely walk across or an affordable home to call their own,” Couch said. “That’s a bet worth making.”

Habitat Casino Night 2026 will be held Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Historic Casino Hall, 254 N. Jefferson St. in La Grange.
