KJZT St. Anne’s Society #10 Remembers Secretary, Discusses Upcoming Elections

The meeting of the KJZT St. Anne’s Society #10 was called to order at 1 p.m. on Aug. 19, at St. John’s Parish Hall. President Mary Jane Toddy opened the meeting with prayers for all living members and their families and led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance. There were 10 members present.Amoment of silence was held in memory of society secretary Rose Rohde.

Roxane Hartley read the minutes from the previous meeting, Helen Wied reported cards sent and received and Lois Kaspar gave the Treasurer’s report.

In old business, 72 people attended the District III Meeting hosted by Society #10 on Sunday, Aug. 16 and the 2027 district meeting will be hosted by Industry.

In new business, members are reminded of officer elections at the November meeting. If you are interested in being an officer, please contact Mary Jane. It was moved and seconded to donate to St. Johns Catholic Church for garden statues that are being added to the front of the church office. Members were reminded to update addresses and beneficiaries.

Attendance prize winner was Margie Vasek and the next meeting will be held Tuesday, Nov. 17.

After the closing prayer, the meeting was adjourned, lunch and social followed.
