Wilson Talks to LEO Club Students About Scholarship Opportunities

The La Grange Leo Club appreciated Lion Sam Wilson for presenting a primer on scholarship applications with statistics on types of scholarships available, where to look for them, and how to differentiate yourself in the application process. Mr. Wilson pointed out that scholarships are more than financial aid, they are opportunities to unlock you potential and pursue your dreams. They can also enable a university or technical school education, as well as avoid student loan debt. Of the $1,885,000 scholarships recognized by LGISD last year, $325,000 were awarded from local community members. La Grange Noon Lions Club applications are available on the LGISD website.
