Wells, Weishuhn Married Saturday
Family and friends gathered for the marriage of Megan Wells and Cullen Weishuhn on Saturday, March 1. It was a beautiful day of friendship, good food, and music. Megan and Cullen were married at St. John the Baptist in Fayetteville with a reception at the Ellinger Chamber of Commerce Hall.
Shared Lutheran Ministry Pastor Jen is still collecting applications at pastorjen@sharedlutheranministry.org for a part time Ministry Coordinator position. This person should have excellent organizational skills.
Save the date for summer Vacation Bible School. This year it will be held the week of June 22. More details to come.
There will not be any Confirmation classes for the month of March. Class attendees are requested to attend at least two Lent services during the season.
Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.
St. Mary’s Catholic Church St. Mary’s Catholic Church Mass is every Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m.
Brethren Church
Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m.
Ellinger Sewer and Water Ellinger Sewer and Water will meet on Monday, March 10 at 6 p.m. at the fire station.
Ellinger C of C
The Ellinger Chamber of Commerce will meet at 7 p.m. in the dining hall on March 11. All chamber and community members are invited.
LGISD
La Grange School will be on Spring Break the week of March 9.
Hermann Sons
There will be a volunteer workday at the Hilltop Camp in Comfort on March 15, 2025 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Breakfast will be provided at 8:15-9 a.m. and lunch will also be provided. All extra hands are appreciated to get camp ready for the summer and all skill levels are needed. Furniture needs to be moved, windows cleaned, yard work, painting, etc are some items that need to be done.
