Weimar Library Hosting Open Mic on April 10

Once again Friends of the Weimar Public Library will host Open Mic Poetry Night at the Gazebo outside the library on April 10.

Beginning at 6:30 p.m., the annual event will provide a forum for writers from beginner to recognized poets to share their poems.

This will be the 4th year for this event which has drawn participants and audience from Weimar and surrounding communities.

Besides poets who read and share their own poems or the poetry of their favorite authors, many come out to enjoy a beautiful evening, visit with neighbors, and enjoy refreshments while they listen to writers old and young.

This event has grown each year and the Friends of the Weimar Public Library hopes you will come out and see what the event has to offer.

In case of inclement weather the event will take place inside the library.
