The Voice of Freedom Celebration

The historical church was filled for each of two performances of one of the first free celebrations of America’s 250 anniversary in the county on June 26 and 27. “The Voice of Freedom,” was an original production with instrumental ensemble, community choir, and historical readings from St. James members and others from throughout the community as well as Houston and Pensacola. Mayor Dockery gave the closing prayer to conclude the final performance on June 27.
