Veterans Appreciation Dinner, Dance Set Sept. 12

The 3rd annual Veterans appreciation dinner and dance will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in La Grange located at 190 S. Brown Street. This function is being sponsored by the Veterans Appreciation of Texas Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) organization.

Doors will open at 2:30 p.m. with the ceremony starting at 4 p.m. This event is being supported by area veterans organizations, the auxiliaries and the support of many sponsors. This event is open to all veterans and their spouses, supporters, and citizens of the surrounding area.

Planned for the event is a meal, raffle, music, dance plus other activities. Also, planned is a celebration of the 250th. anniversary of the founding of our great nation. Admission is $20 per person by presale only.

Wear your military uniform or vest with your military decorations. Dress for this speical occasion by wearing your Sunday best. Come and help celebrate this event with the area veterans, with an emphasis on the 250th anniversary of our country.
