VBS Begins June 16 at St. John in Rutersville

SLM will host Vacation Bible School at St. John in Rutersville the week of June 16. The day will run from 8:30-12 p.m. with breakfast provided. Breakfast will be served from 7:45-8:30 a.m. and participants should be Kindergarden-6th grade. There is no charge this year and for more details, contact the office at (979) 249-3155.

Shared Lutheran Ministry 

Pastor Morgan Gates will be the preacher at St. John Lutheran in Ellinger on Sunday, June15.

The 25th anniversary of Shared Lutheran Ministry will be celebrated at the SPJST Hall in Fayetteville on Feb. 1, 2026.

SLM Council 

The SLM Council will meet in Ellinger at St. John Lutheran on Tuesday, June 17th at 5:30 pm. There will not be a meeting in July.

St. Paul in Fayetteville 

St. Paul in Fayetteville will have a 50th anniversary pipe organ celebratory recital on Friday, June 13 from 6-7 p.m. The recital will be performed by Paul Butt, organist. Light refreshments will be served at the end of the recital.

Ellinger Worship Times 

Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church 

St. Mary’s Catholic

Satur-Church mass is every Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m.

Brethren Church 

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m.

Hermann Sons Life 

Ellinger Hermann Sons Life will meet on Monday, June 16 at the Ellinger Fire Station at 6 p.m.

La Grange ISD 

Classes will resume for students on Wednesday, Aug. 6.
