Two LHS Students Headed To State UIL Academic Meet

La Grange High School senior Riley Lowe, center, earned the gold medal placing 1st individually in Ready Writing, and LHS junior Eleanor Carey, left, earned the silver medal placing 2nd individually in Literary Criticism, on Saturday, April 26, at the Region 3-4A UIL Academic meet at Stephen F Austin State University in Nacogdoches. Riley and Eleanor will both compete at the State UIL Academic meet on Tuesday, May 20, at The University of Texas at Austin. Riley and Eleanor are both coached by Laurie Stork, right.
