Truck Wrecks, Left Hanging On Bypass Friday

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Department responded to an accident on Hwy 71 east bound just east of the FM 609 exit near La Grange where a truck towing a trailer Friday afternoon wrecked, blocking the east bound lane. The truck came to rest partially hanging over the concrete railing of the bypass. Traffic was diverted through downtown La Grange until the accident was cleared.
