Tree Causes City Outage

The City of La Grange experienced a brief power outage on Wednesday afternoon when a tree limb fell on a line. Assistant City Manager Frank Menefee said the City contractors were trimming trees on Walnut St. when they lost control of a limb. Power was out across much of the town for about 10 minutes. City crews quickly restored electricity.
