Tractor Catches Fire in Hay Field

Fayette County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call Friday, June 7, around 2:28 p.m. reporting a tractor and hay bales on fire on Egypt Rd. off Old Plum Highway in the La Grange area. The LaGrange Fire Department was notified and responded to the scene with Deputy Jared Michalec, Game Warden Shaun Bayless. Upon arrival a Tractor and hay bale were fully engulfed. The La Grange Fire Department arrived and the fire was quickly extinguished.
