Texas German Society Grants Scholarships To Local Students

The Texas German Society held their State Convention on Saturday, March 19, at the VFW Hall in Tomball.

At this event, the Texas German Society presented Scholarship Monetary awards to local students who are enrolled in German language classes at their respective high schools and on their way to college in the Fall.

Those receiving this award are:

First Place ($1,500): Brynn Mikulenka from La Grange High School;

Second Place ($1,000): Rosa Ramirez from Wm. B. Travis High School (Ft. Bend ISD);

Third Place ($750): Laura Davis from Seven Lakes High School (Katy ISD).
