Fireman’s Feast Returns to Ledbetter Oct. 3

Ledbetter Volunteer Fire Department Fireman’s Feast will take place Saturday, Oct. 3 at Fireman’s Park in Ledbetter from 4-6 p.m. There will be bingo from 5-6:30 p.m. Barbecue chicken dinner plates are available for $16 each. Desserts and Country Store will be provided by the Ledbetter Homemaker’s Club. The live auction will start at 6:30 p.m.

RT-C School News 

High school progress reports will be posted to the Parent Portal on the RT-C website on Sept. 10. The end of the first grading period is Sept. 25.

Worship with Holy Communion, observing the 16th Sunday after Pentecost, is Sunday at 10 a.m. The Rev. Ken Weiss will serve as the guest pastor.

Recycle Trailers 

The recycling collection trailers are at the Carmine Hall on Thursday mornings from 7:30 a.m.- noon.

Accepted are clean No. 1 and 2 plastic bottles and jugs. Please keep clean milk cartons separate from the other No. 2 plastics. Also, numbers 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 plastics and plastic bags are not accepted.

Dry newspapers, telephone books, magazines, cardboard, paper, junk mail, all colors glass, steel food cans and aluminum cans may also be brought. Attendants are available to help unload.
