Food Pantry Demand Remains High

The AMEN Food Pantry continues to serve large numbers. The call for assistance from the community to assist with providing food was excellent and thanks to all that assisted with the food shortage.

A total of 388 families were served for the month of August for a total of 1,016 individuals. A total of 1,252 volunteers for 986 hours served the pantry. A total of 10,275 pounds of food were donated. The impact of inflation has brought more individuals to require food.

AMEN has every Thursday from 10 a.m. till noon with staff on location to receive donations. Drive to the side of the building at garage door area. If possible, bring your produce during this time and early Monday mornings, an ideal time is 8:30 a.m.

AMEN has expanded serving time to the first and third Thursday from 4:30-6 p.m. Monday serving hours remain the same 9 a.m. until noon.
